Confessions of a Beauty Junkie and a Passionate Baker: LIP LINERS (YAY OR NAY?) (+SWATCHES)

i have just started to get into lip liners for the past few months and now im OBSESSED with it and cant get enough of it! i used to think that i dont need any lip liner and didnt understand the point on using them but when i started using them, man they really do make a BIG difference. they make such a great base and make my lipstick last much much longer.

i like to use this to make my lips look fuller and more defined to get that Kylie Jenner's big pouty lips! hahaha. i even wear them on their own sometimes because they do have such a pretty color. its also prevents your lipstick from bleeding into fine lines.

but before getting into them, please keep these rules in your mind:

apply it as a base all over your entire lip. line-then fill it in. create that perfect cupid's bow to make your lips look more shapely.

use a lip liner that matches your lipstick at least in the same color family. but when in doubt, apply nude. it works with all lipstick colors.

last but not least, dont go too crazy when overdrawing your lips. i know, i know, we all want that Angelina Jolie full pouty lips, but just take it so slightly above your natural lip line. (i will show you how to make your lips appear fuller hopefully in the next post so stay tuned!)
